EU-US Retaliatory Tariffs: Proposed Lists

In connection with the long-running EU-US WTO dispute over the subsidies to Boeing and Airbus, the EU released a list of U.S. products for retaliatory tariffs, after the US announced that it was going to impose import duties on European products.  The EU list covers nearly $23 billion worth of U.S. goods. The EU proposed list is available for public comment until May 31, 2019.  The US list is available here and the US administration will be holding a public hearing on the proposed list at the International Trade Commission in Washington, DC. on May 15, 2019.  Requests to appear at the hearing must be submitted by May 6, 2019.  Written comments have a longer window and can be submitted by May 28, 2019.
